Lepide today announced the launch of version 16.2 of its self-service management tool – Lepide Active Directory Self Service. The latest version offers password synchronization for Office 365 accounts with the solution to manage Office passwords from its interface.

SMS gateway has also been introduced to send bulk notifications and OTP to users. Administrators can now send SMS notifications by subscribing to a SMS plan and benefit from bulk pricing.

For SSL configuration, a new CSR generation tool has been introduced to simplify the process. It allows users to configure and apply SSL certificate with minimal support.

A new authentication wizard pops up during remote GINA/CP installation. Administrators need to provide admin credentials of the local system where the software is installed to safely apply GINA/CP.

Apart from this, Lepide Active Directory Self Service now automatically redirects users from HTTP to HTTPS while using SSL security. IE 8.0 support has been disabled and minor bugs have been fixed for enhanced user experience.
