The new version comes with enhanced look and feel of the GUI. It ensures there is no audit data loss when the SQL Server and the system on which software is installed are not available. There is a message strip at the top of the screen to inform in case data is not getting captured for any reason. At the time of installing NetApp agent, GPO settings are automatically configured. Currently logged on users can specify their credential at the time of adding file servers.

Other features are: adding multiple users at a time for auditing, adding users and computers from remote domains, separate wizards for adding file servers and NetApp filers, stopping auditing and uninstalling agent from server whose license has expired or which is removed from application, instant verification of authentication details, changing service logon rights from the application itself, and using any SQL server database to store audit logs. Also the rule creating process has been simplified.
