Lepide recently announced the launch of LepideAuditor 17.1. The solution now supports auditing of three-tier SharePoint Server and allows administrators to run a customized VBScript, PowerShell Script or a Batch file whenever a critical change is detected in the IT environment.

The License Information Tab and Radar Tab have undergone a re-design to offer seamless functionality. Tabs in the Radar are now focused solely on the components the solution audits. If you are adding multiple domains, they can now be browsed from one Domain Radar Tab using the drop-down menu.

Other new features include:

• Logon/logoff audit reports now show names of computers along with their IP Addresses where the particular logon/logoff was attempted
• Files that contain ‘$’ as a character in their names can now be scanned
• Files with a long file path can be scanned for permissions
• When restoring a deleted user through the Object Restoration Wizard, you can now also restore that user’s password
